To be honest, I've been debating buying this. I do like the updated graphics (I'm a graphics buff) and the character customisation. This is coming off of playing a trial of the game btw.
Now I'm not going to lie I didn't really enjoy inquisition. My favourite was probably DA2 action wise but I felt overall I sunk more hrs into origins.
DA2 is my favourite as well, but it is close with DAO.

I would recommend it. Despite its shortcomings is DAtV still a good game imho.I think the game is different enough from previous titles that it's hard to make a prediction whether you would like this based on the games you liked before. Combat is a lot more action packed than previous Dragon Age titles. It's more like Ys VIII or Final Fantasy VII Remake, with the main difference that you can't control your party member in Veilguard.
