How to start DLCs

Hello!

I finished Dragon Age Inquisition main game a few days ago and just got the "game of the year" edition, meaning all the DLCs and expansions. I put in the new game and got back to my last saved game, so that's Skyhold with all main quests (and side quests) done, and I can't find anything to start the DLCs. I went to the Golden Nug, didn't get new stuff, went to the war table, no new missions. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks

  • @playitagaincam2 The DLCs are started with war table missions, Trespasser is only available after completing the main game and you can't go back once you start it.

If your DLCs aren't showing, make sure you're logged in to both Origin and the Dragon Age servers, this is necessary so the DLC authenticates.
Is any of the other DLC content showing up? There should be some Avaar and Qunari armour/schematics and decorations for Skyhold, Trespasser should make it so each of your abilities has 2 upgrades to choose from instead of one and in the options menu you should have the ability to activate trials to change the difficulty of the game.

The nug isn't a part of any DLC, it was a part of a patch, it allows you to upload all the collectables on a completed character so you can then use the nug on a different character to get those collectibles (schematics, potion recipes, decorations, etc.)

  • Silly question, but is the DLC installed? I think even the GOTY edition comes with separate DLC installers.

  • Thank you for your answer!

You were right about logging in the server, turns out I wasn't (got a connection error every time, I had to turn off the automatic log-in in the options menu and reboot) and when I did manage to log in, the new items turned up in the "special shipment" chest in the Undercroft. New quests also appeared in my journal with the "Deep Roads" etc. I thought that once I'd installed the add-ons, it would work right away so I didn't think to check the connection.

I'm marking this as solved, thank you for your help.
