EA Staff (Retired)Okay. I will try to start a new game and then save, leave, and load the save. And no, I do not use any mods. I'm a purist and enjoy games the way they were meant to be played. Also, I once loaded a save back when I was trying it out and was still in the game's tutorial section. It seems to hate my newer save with nearly 20 hours in it.
UPDATE: I started a new game. Played little over an hour. Long enough to close the big rift and wake up three days later. I saved the game, returned to the main menu, completely closed the game out, restarted the game, and selected load. It loaded the save just fine.
EA Staff (Retired)Hi @KevinMDavis911 Something may have happened to cause the 20 hr save to get corrupted, To check do you have anything that backs up files on your PC we could try to restore from? If not we could try to move all the saves out of the save folder (make a backup folder on your desktop and move them there) then just place the one having issues back and launch the game to see if you can get in.
Unfortunately, I do not have anything that backs-up files. Also, I was having so much fun playing DAI again and have gone back to the new save a couple more times that I just deleted the old save and will use the new one going forward. I'll also not delete any autosaves this time around, in case something like this happens again. Thank you for your help and support and for making a kick-* and fun game. Keep up the outstanding work.
