Importing a save into Dragon age 2 issue

When i go to import a save from DAO into DA2 everythings fine except it's not showing the witch hunt dlc choice in the plot summary. Can someone please help me with this? I am on the Xbox360 if that helps.

P.S I have an autosave from the end of the witch hunt dlc (after the conversation and the credits role) so it should be working no?

I'm cautious about questioning a 'Community Manager,' but I believe the above post is incorrect.

DA2 doesn't recognize imports from any DA:O DLC's except Awakening (and it has trouble with those, too, often confusing flags from choices of Vigil's Keep).

You can see here in the main page of the Wiki that 'BioWare has stated that the DLC packs Return to Ostagar, Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana's Song, Golems of Amgarrak, and Withc Hunt have no plot flags that are checked inside of Dragon Age II.'

Try replaying the final conversation in Witch Hunt, that usually do the trick.

  • Ya' know...I just can't remember if Big Al refers to needing to get back and "the Hero of Ferelden" having returned, even if I started DA2 using the world end-state for a Warden who followed Morri through the Eluvian.

Too many playthroughs and too many different characters!  😕mileyembarrassed:

    Hello

I have the same problem. If i make my Hawke and try to import the data from origins it says that there is no file available.
first i thought it's probably the way i played the dlcs (first witchhunt, then amgarrak and then awakening) i replayed it in this way Awakening-Amgarrak-Witchhunt but it didn't change anything.

Idk what to do anymore :/

Witch Hunt is much time after DA:II, since DA:II starts with the Blight hitting Loithering, and only two or three years pass until the end of the game. Witch Hunt events is after Awakening, and Golems.

  • Actually, no.

Dragon Age Origins begins and finishes in the year 9:30 Dragon, and the Witch Hunt starts a year after.

DA2 is happening in the year 9:38 Dragon, where the Inquisitor Cassandra is interrogating Varric because they want to find Hawke, because they were not able to find the Warden (PC in Origins).

Varric then starts to tell about the origin of Hawke, in the prologue, which is right after the Battle of Ostagar (Origins), then to start Act 1, a year passes, and there is already people telling about the Hero of Ferelden. But Act 2 starts 3 years after, and I don't know how much time between 2 and 3, but I remember Varric is taken for interrogating like a year or so after the ending of DA2. See? Witch Hunt happens at least in the same time as the first mission of Hawke, but I believe it happens even before.
