Is there no DAI DLC bundle?

I see that the DAI game of the year edition came out. It has all the DLCs for $20 more than the base game. Awesome! Cool stuff! I looked to see about picking up the remaining DLCs as I have Spoils of the Qunari and Jaws of Hakkon and the digital deluxe edition. Apparently there is no way to upgrade to game of the year nor is there a bundle for just the DLCs....Why is it that I have to pay $35 dollars to get Trespasser, Descent, and Spoils of the Avaar when I could get the ENTIRE GAME and ALL DLCs for $50? If I hadn't bought Jaws of Hakkon, Buying the Game of the Year edition would be the EXACT SAME PRICE. Please tell me I'm crazy and missed the DLC bundle or goty edition upgrade option.

  • From what I gather, it's just EA punishing you for being an early supporter of the game.  I've already paid $70 for the Deluxe Edition of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and they want me to pay another $55 dollars for all the DLC when people who waited a year can just get everything for $60.  No big deal.

Yes, you get better deals if you wait. I've got no problem with that and preordered with full knowledge that it was going to be the highest price. What I do have a problem with is that I'm not just paying the highest price for the base game. Everyone who bought the game at any point between preorders and last week must buy all the dlcs at full price. Everyone who buys the goty edition gets all the dlcs priced at $10 while we have to pay $55. Why can't there be a dlc bundle for like $20 at least? Even if I was allowed to buy all the dlcs for $10, I would STILL be paying more than newcomers as the price of the game already dropped $20.

My other solution that is NOT as good but better than the current situation is that we can gift away our current copy if we buy the goty edition. If I buy the goty, I'd have another copy of the base game just sitting there worthless as I'd never have a reason to play it, and I can't let anyone else play it like I could with a game with a disc instead of Origin.

hey its insane that AAA titles Companies and Pub's still charge for DLC... the really good AAA title companies that are making great games and pleasing the people are few and far between, BUT that's not a reason to continue this tom foolary. I DEMAND to hear from the people! I know i already paid 59.99$ for this game, and watching some playthroughs of the DLC i really feel like most of the DLC should have been in the game to begin with. The way they released the DLC also made it feel like content they already had made and were just releasing them ever so often to make more money. Special'y when the DLC are 15$ each and not more than 6hrs of content. its hard to stomach this *.. Uplay, this, Crappy cloud saving.....ect the list grows and there is nothing we can do about it.
