item sell/duplicate glitch for pc still working?

I am playing DA:I on PC and have been trying to do the sell/duplicate items trick (press sell all and sell almost at the same time) from the previous 2 games but can't get it to work. I read that it was at least initially working in this game but maybe only with crafting materials other than potion ingredients. I have tried selling a stack of iron and also a stack of serpentstone but it doesn't seem to work. Sometimes the stack disappears and then I get the quantity to sell pop up but even when that happens it doesn't provide any additional gold and the stack size remains the same in buy back section. Can someone who used to be able to use it tell me if it still works with current PC version through Origin?
