Yeah same, have the touch, solas in my party, artifact wont appear, cannot complete. I did find a exact same artifiact in the western approach, before finishing this quest. Did this create a bug?
I don't think you are supposed to be able to activate any artifacts BEFORE you do the one in the cave. So it sounds like you did create a bug...or more exact...Bioware created an issue when they didn't lock off all artifacts and instead let you get to one too eary to cause the bug.
