I have the same issue in PS4 and manage to load again my save file.
First I create a new character and then after I got to the game I load the other one and it works.
Hope it works out for you guys too.

Same problem here...put 40+ hours into it and couldn't trigger a mission to start so I decided to reinstall the game and now it doesn't let me load it. Praying this gets fixed soon!

I just fixed the issue for myself!!
Hopefully it'll work for you guys!
What I did was simply redownloaded my DLCs for the game. So just go to the playstation store and under library pick dragon age then download all your DLCs.
