Speaking only as a fellow player, but based on previous experience and evidence (just Google "Dragon Age fan fic" for lots) there's no problem.
Just be sure it's totally NON-COMMERCIAL. 😇
Thank you for the speedy reply. I do have my fanfic publicly posted on AO3 and I know that is allowed. I was wondering more along the lines of hardcover publication from a site, for example, like lulu where it can be sold at cost production only with no profit taken for myself.
