For that problem, System Files check and automatic restore was suggested by EA_Barry here:

Make sure you press + symbol on microsoft's instructions page to learn how to elevate command prompt on your windows.

There are only a small handfull of Community Managers. This is the game player community on Answer HQ, not the official customer support. If you want "EA" you need to stay on the Help Center:

This is true Gorath, but...
In the case of The Sims 4, they've split it into performance (crashes/freezes/stutters/installing_inability) and nonperformance problems (script bugs, quest bugs, character bugs, achievement bugs). And there is a moderator (crinrict) that does an awsome job of merging all same reports into one thread. Not only that, she made also a comprehensive list of all known bugs in the game.
30+ pages of different issues so far... I'd say Dragon Age 3 deserves the same strategy. This particular bug, 0xc000007b, is mentioned already in several threads and it wouldn't hurt if all of them were merged into just one so people know what was suggested to try or what was tried but didn't help.

I avoid visiting any Sims forum or dealing with any Sims questions. That was no always the case. I've no idea when the Hero refertenced sleeps or has any personal life to live away from the AHQ spaces. I was impressed with some of the helpful threads there; personally, I take more time offline than online to read, socialize in person, and take care of my house / yard.
I have no interest in that level of dedication. In past forum incarnations over my 30 years of electronic communication, starting with telephone bulletin boards, I have hosted some BBS's and been active as a volunteer moderator on several gaming forums. The Internet has changed dramatically in my time. The forum members have far too little respect for each other or a moderator to suit me at my age.
Before the AHQ's Heroes were to be elevated to moderator responsibility levels, I was not asked if I wanted that responsibility (I did not), and when the change came, my Hero Status was changed to a new rank no one before then ever had, "Chosen" -- that was over a year and more ago.
I have been asked since if I wanted the responsibility now, and have demurred.
