Which system are you on? If the PC, do you have any mods active? Does it only happen on Amulet of Barrier, or is it replicable on the higher tier versions? Does it not add it for a specific character, or for anyone you test it on? What items does the character have equipped other than the amulet at the time?
It does add Barrier on the PS4 while equipped on Blackwall (I will admit I haven't tried testing it on the other characters yet).
Thanks for your reply. I play on PC with a PS4 controller. All trials nightmare solo, qunari rogue inquisitor. I do not have the higher tier version yet, and I did not test it on other npc either (solo). For testing I will try it on somebody though, and I have a solo mage character having the higher tier already, there I can test it on another npc (rogue or warrior) as well, I come back when I have the results.
Oh, and I do not have any mods installed, but I have all content (not multiplayer) dlc installed.
Ok, so I did some testing. Unfortunately my mage has already sold the amulet, so I could not try the higher tier version. However I tried the basic one on Blackwall with and without all trials, even on normal difficulty and it's definetly not working on PC.
Finally I have the enhanced version, and it works.
