OK, I decided to uninstall/keep my saves/reinstall. The black Emporium mirror now works. Now tho', when going around town, some of the buildings have bright colors, some of the people have no legs but none of thi occurs consistently.

Glad you got back into the Emporium.

Sad you have garish colours and legless NPCs.

Never heard of such behaviour before. You are unique!
