So I got a refund and waiting for a patch, which, judging by the silent treatment from Bioware, won't be around anytime soon i guess, which is kinda frustrating and even infuriating.

How did you get them to give you a refund? I tried and I basically got the canned, "Sorry Sucker..." email.

And no performance tweaks in Patch 3, still crashes and no error this time. Honestly I'm thinking of switching to an AMD graphics card since all these problems are mostly with Nvidia

No guarantee of that working, I've got all AMD hardware and get nothing but crashes, and I'm not the only one I've seen around here. You might be more fortunate, but make sure it's a card you can return in 30 days if there's no success.

I thought patch 3 would resolve those crashes, today there's been a little hotfix but still didn't fix crash issues. The game just shut down without reason, error message nor any clue on why it does.
