So any help now that my DxDiag shows I have the hardware to support the game? My problem on first post still exists. When I open the game, I can see it in processes of task manager but the game never actually launches.
The important part about my problem is the fact that the game was working perfectly fine on Ultra graphics until I bought and installed Descent and Trespasser DLCs.
Steps I tried:
- Ended all tasks that were not windows tasks, left only windows explorer on. Proceeded to repair the game and then launch it.
- Used Ccleaner as the guide on this site said.
- Disabled all sorts of firewalls
- I don't have any Razer apps, some people say it causes problems with DA:I
@Leora85 Any ideas?
At this point, I might do a clean windows install because this is very annoying. I can install and open all games except DA:I, the game I actually and really want to play.
For visual purpose:
There was a very sticky and stubborn corrupt application in the system that even escaped Ccleaner. I was able to root it out with full and clean boot of the system, following this guide:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
There are plenty of applications that have conflict with either Origin.exe or DragonAgeInquisition.exe as I have seen many people having the same problem as me when I was looking for a solution over the internet, and those that were able to solve their issues almost always never used a same fix. This is one of the fixes, so try it if you have my problem as well.
