"Safe Keeping" quest bug

There is a quest called Safe Keeping in Villa Maurel in the Emerald Glades that I'm finding impossible. I get the quest,

but can't pick up or locate any of the 3 key fragments. They spots they should be in, I've read and I go right to, search, but nothing happens.

I tried re-loading right when I entered the location and fought the guards but the same thing happened. I wonder if this has ever happened to anyone or 

what to do. I think I'll try and re-enter the area and see if that re-sets it correctly so I can search, find and pick up the key fragments, but

I am doubtful.
