@xFacinhAx I tested this last night and could not get it to crash after creating almost all characters with a quick setup.
Took a look at your system as well. The first thing I would do is update your Intel drivers as they are very out of date - Check for GPU updates
I also see that the game is crashing quite a bit in your error report. Past that there isn't much saying why, At that point, you start fresh.
Uninstall the game first
Remove the save folder to the desktop
Delete Windows Temp Files
- First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot the PC
Optional Registry clean-up
- install CCleaner (it's free) from here
- Run Registry cleaner
- Click review selected issues
- Do you want to back up? No
- Click Fix all selected issues
I would also take a look at Steam's troubleshooting steps. From what it sounds like is either the game downloaded a corrupt file, or the save file itself, when created.
- 12 months ago@EA_Shepard I will door all these you recommended and come back with feedback.
I've 2 gpu on my laptop. The game uses nvidea when running... so in theory Intel on-board card shouldn't be a problem . I'll update all of then anyway. - holger140512 months agoHero+
Please create a new DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

Hi @xFacinhAx, with this game no. They shouldn't be. I have a PC that only has intel for testing and no issues. - 12 months ago
Done updates
Done ccleaner
Done temp files
Done validating steam files
Still crashes . š«

Do you use Mods?
The WER (Windows Error reporting) report is not present in this DxDiag. Probably because the DxDiag exe itself crashed.
1. Hit Windows key and X.
2. Choose either āPowerShell (Administrator)ā or āCommand prompt (Administrator),ā or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
3. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter āDISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealthā without quotes. > ENTER.
4. If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found reaped steps 1 & 2.
5. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter āDISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealthā without quotes. > ENTER.
6. The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
7. After it reaches 100% reaped steps 1 & 2
8. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter āsfc /scannowā without quotes > ENTER.
10. Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here. - 12 months ago
Mod directly in the game no, I use plitch sometimes but it never crashed a game before. DAO is crashing without trainer too.
Once I'm back home I'll do the steps you detailed and come back with the info.
Thank you everyone, I appreciate the effort šš»

Not what I expected tbh.
The i7-10875H is a laptop CPU, but the DxDiag is not showing a manufacturer or a model, what manufacturer and model is your laptop?

On laptops, the graphics system often works by using both GPUs. The Intel driver could very well be part of the problem and it is still a very old driver that you are using now.
Where did you get this driver from, the laptop manufacturer? - 12 months ago
The drivers I get them from official websites from the companies. My laptop was bought over 3y ago from PCspecialist [uk]

- Follow this manual to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA graphics driver components.
- Follow the manual again to cleanly uninstall all Intel graphics driver components.
- Install the latest Intel graphics driver from the website of the manufacturer.
- Install the latest NVIDIA graphics driver from the website of the manufacturer.
- Go online > Test.

Done. Followed all the steps on both drivers. Game.still crashes. Now I cannot open also other games
... gonna verify the files of all games.

Run DDU again but use the newest drivers you can find here (Intel) and here (NVIDIA)
There are however many "WaasMedicFailure2" errors in this DxDiag, that is a program that is executed to correct errors in the Windows update process.
This on the other hand shows that there are indeed update problems within your system and I believe that the result of SFC was incorrect because the necessary data to correct this problems could not be loaded. - 11 months ago
i run DDU again and still having troubles.
now i cannot open also DAI nor DA2.
before the issue was only with DAO...
all other games run beautifully.... im current playing new update from hello games no man sky on full graphics.

Hey, @xFacinhAx,
I wanted to follow up on this thread to see if you continue having issues with the game!
Thanks for that update! We will take a look at that! - holger140511 months agoHero+
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
- Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
- Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
(If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)
Then:
- Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
- Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall DAO.
- At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "intensive" > Browse
- If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
- When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All > Delete
- Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall EA app.
- At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "intensive" > Browse.
- If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
- When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All (Make sure the "Origin Games" or EA Games" folders is not in the list) > Delete.
- Restart the PC > Reinstall the newest version of EA app from here. (important!)
- Reinstall DAO. > Test.
