Steam Version of Dragon Age: Origins Not Showing Up On EA App

In trying to import my custom data to Dragon Age Keep, I was adding all the games I have on Steam to the EA App. Dragon Age 2 worked fine, but I can't get Origins to show up at all. The EA App doesn't respond in any way to me opening the game and I can't log in from within the game either; it simply tells me "The EA servers are no longer available." I also don't see an option to add the game to the app, only to redeem a code which I don't believe Steam products have.

  • apparently EA closed the dragon age origins server, only dragon age 2 and inquisition are connecting.
  • @holger1405 But no way to import an Origins file to DA2 then any more, huh? I guess unless I buy the game on the EA App directly presumably.

    I think that functionality was actually shut down alongside the BioWare forums, the servers that were shut down last November were for screenshots.

    Dragon Age: Origins was released before EA started integrating Origin into their games, so it doesn't automatically appear in Origin/EA App.

    It used to be possible to check your CD key in Steam and add it to Origin that way, that's how I did it, but it seems like Valve removed that option from Steam.
