The Darkspawn Chronicles: Elven Alienage gate won't open

Hello, I bought this DLC yesterday and started playing. But the Elven Alienage gate won't open, it does not matter what I do. It seems the variable that would trigger the gate to open is not recog...

It's your mods. I forget which one(s) can cause this, but the fix is easy.

Cut-n-Paste your "\override" folder to your Desktop, play DSC, Cut-n-Paste your "\override" folder back where it belongs.

Since almost no mods work in DSC anyway, you'll never miss it!

The thing is, I use no mods. At least, not that I know...
But I'll check it. Maybe I installed something and don't remember.

  Glad you got things sorted! Have *fun* finishing "The DLC Which Must Not Be Named".
  
  I actually refused to purchase it when it was released. "Never happened, so doesn't exist." was my attitude.
  
  Then I got it as part of the Ultimate Edition when that went on sale, and went through it once for the badge.
  
  It was later, (when I was trying to earn the other two badges) that I encountered the same problem you did. 😕mileysurprised:
