Unable to complete Chateau D'Onterre dungeon

Emerald Graves: Chateau D'Onterrre dungeon

I have done everything I needed to do before I get to the upstairs and stand in front of the dragon head. The small gold box that I am supposed to activate, so that the tail will move and give me the key to the balcony does not have a X button to hit. Nothing happens. I log out and back in and still nothing.

I cannot complete the quest without getting the key.

After finding all the map pieces, look on the Dragons tail.

stuck in front of bookcase uper flour bed room looking for map i have pressed the right thumbstick what do i do this time ?
