I had the same issue. I'd run the disk and then it would take me to origin where I'd enter the code and then nothing would happen. I'd try again and it'd just tell me that the code had already been used. I was stuck in a loop. After flying off the handle, I realized I had entered the registration code which is 16 characters long. I found another code within my box that was 20 characters long, the product code I assume. I entered that and it's gone smoothly since. It added the Digital Deluxe Edition to origin and immediately started copying data from the disk to my hard drive. We'll see how it goes from there.
I send you all the love from the internet. This fixed my issue. that peice of paper went in the bin cause it looked like install instructions.
