I have this same problem. My girlfriend and I were both playing Dragon Age on my PS4; each of us has a separate account. We had purchased the Deluxe Edition game, and I myself didn't care about the Deluxe Content, so I told her she could redeem the code. When she did this, she was able to play the game fine, but I was now getting an error when trying to load my games that I was missing Deluxe Edition content. Therefore, I am completely unable to play.
I've tried several times to contact EA, but I am blown away at how horrible the customer service has been.
First, I went to the Live Agent site. I had to wait an hour and a half before I could talk to an agent. When I finally did, the agent wasn't helpful and was trying to force me to purchase another game. (We were both able to share the game prior to redeeming the code, so I'm not going to buy another game!) I then asked to speak to a supervisor, and the rep hung up on me! Here's what I'm talking about:
Today, I found a number I could call. I then put in a callback request. I just got my call back after two and a half hours, but as soon as I answered, the person on the other end hung up. When I called back, I got a message about business hours being over. I can't believe they made me wait for nothing!
