Unable to share play [PS4]

(PlayStation 4) 

I'm trying to share play to view a friend's screen to help them figure out the game but keep getting a notice that says"The hosts screen cannot be viewed because the game has not been released in your country or region. If the host starts a game that you can view, the game screen will be displayed". 

We both live in United States (California and New York) but we were able to share play about a few weeks ago. Did something change to stop it from working?

    Do either of you use a proxy or VPN to connect? If so that might be telling EA servers that you are not in a country in which DAI has been released, or, you are hiding your location some other way, in which case that's why.

    If none of that is the problem, post back please so that we can let the staff know that there is a problem.

    Yeah... None of those things are factors for us. What is bad is that we were able to for a while until recently.

    I've had the same issue--I've been unable to shareplay since I got the new PS4 4.00 software. We've tried restoring licenses and resetting in safe mode and it didn't work. Did you ever find a solution?

    Not at all... I was hoping someone from Bioware would have read this but alas...
