Wicked hearts formal attire not coming off after mission completion

In wicked hearts, there's "formal attire" armor you have equipped while your in the castle and not in combat. After not playing for a few weeks, i realized i'm stuck in it. "changing equipment is not available at this time". Iv'e tried reloading earlier saves (the last one is a "milestone" after wicked hearts") tried going to skyhold and the other city, nothing works. I'm obviously fairly far in, 30+ hours. Any ideas on what to do?
