I haven't used a PlayStation since PS1, but I always assumed it auto updated. On a side note: DAO Ultimate Edition should already have the patch.

I have played from Origins, Awakenings, to Witch Hunt. I've only played Golems once and with my mages (it's pretty difficult without a mage)
I've used the auto saves and still nothing on my plot summaries in DA2.
Sometime ago I've did a "Camp Save" and imported it to Witch Hunt the dialogue was somewhat different. Since I downloaded WH it appears to have the latest patch. I didn't have a error.
