Why Veilguard looks like Disney game?

    Morning Everyone!

    First I wanted to thank everyone for being about of the community here and taking a moment to share your feedback on Dragon Age The Veilguard!

    With that said I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone, that while we love to see feedback and passion for the games our teams make, we need to remain respectful of one another. If we are unable to do so we will need to close this thread.

They left Frostbite Engine in order to use Unreal Engine 5 (designed for Fortnite?) and the development was restarted 2 or 3 times. Only 5 years after Anthem (2019), I think they couldn't go further.

Starfield was in development for 25 years, Cyberpunk 2077 was for 12 years, Dragon Age Origins/DA2 took 7 years and Inquisition for 3 years.

    I'm pretty sure the game engine is still Frostbite (one of the reasons to purchase the game). 

    Lost of "Dark Fantasy touch" in exchange for "Little Pony game" based on "clean shaved, smooth baby of the new Qua" (probably a qunari which are known for "never shave" policy - as they were in DA2 and DA3) and some mixed up engines that happened 5 years after Anthem. 

    Ok, time for me to stop because we get nowhere.

      And I'm quite happy about that now that I've seen the technical review by Digital Foundry. A game that runs this well is uncommon on Unreal Engine 4 or 5. I couldn't play through Jedi Survivor because of the stutter.
