Unable to bind arrow keys to movement.

Dear Bio-Ware & EA,  

I have heard in the forums that the arrow keys are hard coded into the game functions and cannont be changed.  If you have done this why?  They only way a Left-hander such as my self can play the game effectively is to use the arrow keys for movment.  I've tried changing the num-pad and that was too awekard and I have a second keyboard that mimics the lleft-hand side of the keyboard, so I can use my right hand for movement, but then I can't dodge, or jump because I'm haveing to use two different keyboards to play.  Fix this, please.  There are many other gamging studios allow for this, why can't you?
