Elgar’nans fade trap glitch
I’m escaping his trap while Solas confronts him, and after making the bridge and destroying the blight, a monster is supposed to appear so that I can remove the next blight that isn’t red activated yet. However no monster shows, so the blight is still inactive and cannot go through… anyone has an idea how to fix this? I restarted the game 5 times, turned of my set up, reloaded from a previous save to start over the whole quest and still no monster to active the blight…Load Error
Every time I load somewhere outside the Lighthouse, I get a 'Load Error' and can't load the game. It's made the 3rd act basically impossible because unless I finish it all in one go, I can't save and quit. I'm on my second playthrough and it's just come back in that one after being a pain in the butt on my first. The game will load for a half a second after closing the error message before kicking me back to the main menu. The game is installed on an internal SSD, so that's not the problem and my graphics are set to medium. Please tell me there's a fix because it's really frustrating.
Blonde Hair turning Dark
In one of my playthroughs with my Antivan Crow Rook, she has blonde hair but everytime she goes into any shaded area her hair turns pure black. This seems to be a consistent thing that has happened to multiple people. This needs to be fixed. It doesn't make any sense that a blonde haired person's hair would turn black. This only seems to affect gameplay as so far in cutscenes that hair is white.
Inquisitor Appearance Bug
I custom created my Inquisitor's appearance - I imported a character I had created previously, but then edited the Inquisitor afterwards (not sure if that matters). However she appears as the default elf female preset and without hair. Attached images show how she appears in game versus the character creator.
CTD on start up (does not load to the main menu)
Attached image is my system specs: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF mobo is: MSI PRO Z690-A Windows 11 All drivers and BIOS are up-to-date Playing on Steam The game will run for roughly 10-15 min after re-installing or verifying file integrity before crashing. Any other time, the game crashes before the main menu. In both cases, there are no error messages or any pop-ups indicating any reason for crash. Computer is not having thermal issues, and issue is specific to Veilguard. Contacted Customer Support and they recommended I post here. I have multiple quests for the area of Hossberg, however; whenever I try to go there, regardless of method, (fast travel / eluvian) it auto starts the main quest - Fire & Ice. I can not access the companion quest for Taash, or kill the champion demon as required for a couple of other quests. Is this a bug? How to do Hossberg quests without starting Fire & Ice.
Textures/Shaders not loading despite using RTX4080
It seems after the latest patch, either due to NVIDIA drivers, or the game patch or both, the visual quality of the game has deteriorated hugely. I am using an Ultra Core Intel 9 CPU and Nvidia RTX4080 Super (with latest drivers). In the attached image you can see the quality of the game with ULTRA settings at 4K! Although it make little difference if I switch to High or other. I have tinkered for hours with graphics and other game settings trying to correct the problem but I had no luck. Its a pity since the visual quality was one of its best aspects and now I don't even feel like playing it with such bad quality. This looks like a texture or shader bug to me and any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.
[BUG] Through the shadows puzzle
In through the shadows the right receiver of the light puzzle doesn`t work, no matter which of the beams i use..... I followed tutorials and everyone uses the lower right beam that is 30 m away but it just doesn´t register... It tried using any of the other beams that can reach it but they also do not activate it...[Xbox] Dialogue in French and Won’t Change
I quit the game and when I came back it was in French. I changed the setting back to English it said to restart for it to work but restarting didn’t work. It won’t change back to English. It says in the settings it’s in English, my Xbox settings are in English but it is still in French. I’ve reset my Xbox a dozen times trying to fix it over the last couple of days to no avail. I saw another post for this issue but no solution.Can we get an official response for the missing DLC?
It's been over 2 weeks and no official word with what is going on with the missing DLC. Many of us are still unable to play with the pre order and deluxe items. We spent our money on this and still nothing. Two patches and still nothing. What is going on?Crashing During Cut Scenes

Neve's barrier not displaying during Fire & Ice
During Fire and Ice, after the dragons are defeated and Ghilan'nain is wounded, Elgar'nan appears and casts an area effect spell. Neve uses a barrier to shield herself and Rook. Before patch 4, the barrier was visible; since patch 4, the barrier visual effect isn't visible. I've seen some other comments about this around social media, so this doesn't seem to be specific to my game.Game keeps begging me to [Skip] cutscenes, making it distracting to watch them.
I'm having difficulty watching cutscenes because there's a popup notification in the bottom right corner imploring me to "Skip Cutscene [__]". I turned off both "Tips" and "Hints" in the settings, assuming this would remove the distraction, but neither accomplished this for some reason. Turning off hints and tips should also permanently hide the tip to skip cutscenes. Please fix. If I so much as breath while holding the mouse during a cutscene, it will sense movement and assume I don't want to play the game, begging me to skip it instead. If there's an option to stop the game from encouraging me to skip cutscenes please let me know what I need to do, I couldn't find anything but this is making it extremely difficult to enjoy the game. That tooltip shouldn't pop up unless I press the key that is bound and it's asking me to confirm my choice to skip, or if I hit Escape to open the menu. Why is it harassing me just for keeping my hand on the mouse while I'm playing?
Hair Rendering Bug/Dots Appearing in Hair
In certain scenes and lighting hair will get these dots all over it that will appear for a second then disappear. The dots will keep re appearing for the entirety of a scene sometimes. Seems like a rendering issue, and playing around in the settings doesn't seem to fix it. Have all settings on high and PC more than capable of running game. Have noticed it mostly in sunny scenes, and scenes with certain backlighting. Have seen this issue in a few posts. Hopefully there can be a fix as its rather annoying. If anybody has had a similar problem and managed to find a solution help would be appreciated!Camera Position
Please, for the love of God, give us a slider to center the camera behind our character. I've been holding off on playing until this becomes an option and now I hear that the final patch has gone out. The offset camera disagrees with my OCD and frankly makes me a bit dizzy. All my future Bioware purchases are hinging on this feature. Please, allow me to center my player.
