Annoying Alt-F4 Issue in EA App!

Dear all,

As you all know, the key combination "Alt+F4" has the functionality to force close a program/window. A while back, I used to rage quit all the time and I worked around this issue by disabling the key combination using the software "AutoHotKey".

However, when playing games from the EA App I pressed the key combination out of instinct and to my surprise the game closed, even though AutoHotKey works perfectly fine. This seems to happen to every single game launched from the EA App. Now, whenever I play a game from the EA App, I know that Alt+F4 works and I keep rage quitting again, while I don't have this problem anywhere else (Steam, Ubisoft Game Launcher, GOG.com etc.).

I tried alternative approaches to disable the key combination: I tried remapping it using another software called "SharpKeys" which edits the registry. I even manually tried to disable the Alt key overall using the .reg file

again using these attempts works perfectly fine EXCEPT in games launched from the EA App. I used keyboard testing software to see it it can recognize me pushing the Alt key. It notices that I push some key but not that it is the Alt key.

The only logical conclusion I make is that the EA App has hardcoded the Alt-F4 in its software to close every program launched from it.

The only solution I could find is to physically block the F4 button and reboot the pc. But then I have other problems like not being able to push "S" and "D" at the same time making turn around a car difficult for example.

Please, I beg you. What can I do to bypass this problem. You cannot imagine how important this is to me.
