Comcast outage = No access to my games?

I am aware the EA app has an offline mode.. that requires one to be online and logged in before using. Kind of a swing and a miss here team.
Being locked out of games during an internet outage that I play solely offline anyways (and purchased through Steam) is not okay EA.

Let's get this issue addressed and solved.
