Custom Controller Mapping

How in the actual heck is there not custom controller mapping support in the EA App? 

I use a generic bluetooth controller to play games on the PC, and it's MADDENING that the mappings are just random and absolute garbage. For example, my "Y" button (far left of the 4) scrolls up. My "B" button (bottom) scrolls down. My joystick does nothing. The other two buttons do nothing.

I'm literally just trying to play Need for Speed Unbound while kicked back in a gaming chair instead of with a mouse and keyboard (which is EW for a racing game). 

EA, for the love of god, PLEASE release some support for controller mapping. It's absolutely unacceptable that a company as huge as you with games as popular as yours doesn't have something as EASY as custom controller mapping.

If PPSSPP, Dolphin, AetherSX2, and other FREEWARE EMULATORS can do this, why in the fricking heck can't you?
