EA App doubles game size everytime it updates a game

It turns out that EA App is in fact cloning every game file in your game folder when it updates a game. This will lead to lots of strange behaviour should you not have the disk space. EA does not te...

    When updating a game @3DiE9djua2 it often is that you will need double the game install size free on your hard drive in order for it to complete.

@3DiE9djua2 This EA app is a complete joke.

I was reinstalling games I have not played in ages and it did this to me.

My solution was to just go onto steam for the games that are free and play them there as EA app was duplicating files wasting hundreds of gigs of space. Absolute joke.

I was also just about to buy EA play, and thank goodness I first started with my older games and saw the problem.

Will not be going back to EA app ever again.
