EA app invite friend from list

So if a friend is online and appears in the App friends list .. where is the option to invite them to a game Im currently playing from the App? Doesnt seeem to be one like there was in Origin.

So whats the point of this EA App?

I've also had this issue. A buddy and I were trying to play Deadspace 3. No way to join eachother's games. It doesn't seem to be something they are intent on addressing.
