EA App Should Add in Section to disable packs

I like Origin as well as the EA app, however I prefer Origin because it allows me to be able to disable any pack I purchased that I may not want to play with. For example, sometimes I don't want vampires in my games or spellcasters, or so on and I disable the pack briefly to play without them in the game but EA App does not have a section to disable any pack. I think that would make the app a lot better if that part was added.

  • I found a way around this issue, create a new folder and drag any packs you dont want to play in there, the open the game and they will show as not installed, if you want to use them just drag them back

  • OMG - this is the most useful thing! Thank you. Since changing from Origin to EA App, I have had so much struggle to play my games.

This is a PRO tip! Thank you!! ❤️

  • @LifeinPiecesand to get to origin program files after EA app hides it type in your PC search box (bottom left on windows) - c:\Program files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4

  • thank you so much!! also if other people are trying to do this and the game file just makes a copy and dosen't remove it  you can hold shift while dragging it and that will remove it and then you can move it back later when you want to!! happy simming 🙂

@Elfskin Doesn't work in the EA app. I have the code, copied straight from his website, but the EA app ignores it, and the pack is still very much active.
  • @LifeinPieces OMG YES. I mean the app has the very smart "manage add-ons" menu, but you can only see which add-on you have, not manage them at all. Would be nice with a "deactive" button next to the pack, in that manage add-ons menu. Would make sense for it to be named "manage add-ons". Right now it's just a "See Your Add-Ons" menu.
