This new EA app is so bad that even though it gives you the option to install it elsewhere, if you don't keep it in the Windows Program Files folder, it won't work at all. All of my other game launchers are installed in the proper Windows Program Files(86x) folder where they should be since i'm using a windows 64 bit OS not the old 32 bit OS. Yet for all the complaining i'm being told by EA customer service that I have to keep the app where they want it (the option to move it is there so why not work properly after I use said option) or I cannot use the app at all much less play any EA games that I own. What good is me paying for the EA Pro subscription each year if all your are going to tell me is "put the app where we say" and that's that. I went thru this with you devs back in the beta days of this new app ...I told you then and am telling you now, the app is utter garbage if we can't use it the way we want. you are just a publisher EA and your launcher should just do that, launch games, not force me to place it on my pc in only one area and completely break on me if I chose to use the move options you give.
Agreed. All other launchers and companies listen to their consumers but it seems that EA just doesn't care. I wish there was a way for consumer feedback to be directly heard by the devs and then acted upon.

Now ea crapp worst ever applicaton, but steam devs not so ideal too: as example steam prevents shutdown pc few years and they dont care aswell as ea. Shutdown screen says some steam servers prevents turning off and this can continies loooong time.

14 years on Steam, haven't had half the problems I've had on EA app in the short time since it was forced on us.

Been on Steam for 19 years, and I have never had any problems with it, despite all the numerous changes they've made to the client - Well except one time when the friends list and chats having an Apple interface, but other than that.. no issues whatsoever.
Steam has been rock solid, and it has always launched all my games without any fuss.
Origin was always alright. It launched games and like Steam, it had the option to use the friends list for joining/inviting people - by right-clicking! (hint, hint EA)
Although Origin had the tendency to become slow and unresponsive, you could always just restart it to fix that.
But man oh man.. EA App has been nothing but problems. It feels the same now as it did in its beta stage, like nothing has been fixed since then. All the negative feedback from the community has been brushed over, with the developers turning a blind eye towards their customers.
The worst part is that EA App has been FORCED on the userbase. No option to continue using Origin until the App is on par or better than its predecessor.
