@7thMuseOkay so here's a workaround, it's not perfect as EA App still gets opened and you have to alt tab to switch the focus from it, but it will stop the app from showing up, completely. Create a new desktop via Win+Tab key combination, then open EA App and move the window to the secondary desktop. Switch back to your primary, done. Just tested this and technically it stays open on the secondary desktop so it stops popping up every damn time you launch or quit EA game. The app can not force switch between desktops thankfully. Whenever i'm done playing NFS i'm deleting this PoS from my system.
P.S. another thing is that after quitting the app reappears on your primary desktop so you have to move it every time, i'm yet to find a solution for that.
Method #2 is to drag the app all the way down/left/right to the edge and move the window behind screen's borders. As with the workaround #1 it'll still pop up and steal focus but at least the window's going to be smol and only show its edge from the bottom/left/right. It's way better if you've got secondary monitor, way less distracting.
Wow, thank you - a method that actually works without the user having to do something each time - I guess I can still launch Apex from the Desktop icon and not have to switch back to the other virtual desktop.
I wonder if I can make it automatically go to that other desktop if I turn on "Open automatically each time Windows launches" or such.
