Agreed! I live in an area that doesn't always have great internet, and requiring me to always be online is frustrating! And the so-called "solution" of having internet while you log in and then turning it off is terrible. I don't want to make my phone a hotspot when my internet goes out just to log onto a stupid app to play a game that is not multi-player!
I mean, steam lets you start in offline mode, why not the EA app?
