I'm going to agree with the others here. I wanted to play Sims 4 (the only game I even have on Origin) since I need some distractions from a personal tragedy, and being prevented by this attention starved pop-up is the last thing I needed. Seeing all the complaints about the EA app also means I really do not want to swap, especially since I spent a lot on the game (in time and money) already and do not want to risk losing it to a shoddy app. TL;DR, if it wasn't broke, don't fix it.

Same problem AGAIN here.
They tried this EA App nonsense out many weeks ago, but pulled it after so many could not get it to Install.
It just pops up like a bad penny now on the Origin Login, and then crashes every single time when trying to let it Install.
EXACTLY like it did many weeks ago, when they pulled it after all of the complaints, and let people continue to use the Origin Login.
Now they have rolled the same broken rubbish out again, and, as if by magic, it's still broken!
Does nobody at EA test anything now before deployment?
As things stand, I cannot now access PAID FOR CONTENT, all because some bright spark has elected to re-deploy an already broken EA App.
Seriously unimpressive.
