Pop-up in Origin about EA app which can't be closed

Hi everyone. I have been playing Sims 3 through Origin for many years now, but today am having issues. When I open Origin I get a message pop up which says "The EA app is your new home for PC gaming....

Hey there getting rid of origin so u have no choice to use new ea app it's ridiculous as it such a terrible app
