Re: Option to invite a friend without overlay!?

I wonder why this hasn't been fixed yet. 
It is the same story for us who plays the older Bioware multiplayers (DAI, and ME3). Since EA App overlay won't work for many of us, it is a pain in the rear to join our friends. Fortunately, some of us has a working overlay, and they are able to invite others, but it is extremely cumbersome. 
So EA, for the love of God. Please implement the functionality to invite/join players directly in the app, like you could in Origin. It is the easiest fix for many of us.

- And no, no matter how much I have tried, the overlay does not work for me in those games, despite it working when I still had Origin.
