Suggestion | EA Desktop app should support Steam games.

@azgoodaz What features would you like to see integrated with steam? Game Library, settings, friends list?

@azgoodaz EA Desktop is in Beta and depends heavily on Origin until they have implemented the real launcher for the games.

Once that is solved/developed Origin will cease to exists and you will be able to launch the games with Steam again as it will depend on EA Desktop and not Origin that will not launch if you have EA Desktop running.

Launching Steam games will still require you to have Steam installed, and I guess you know this already but for anyone else that reads this.

Nonetheless, for the EA-fans i guess launching Steam games would be a nice option to have, i myself don't criss-cross the games as you often have different friends on different platforms and games, some is the same but mostly others.

@EA_Illium Game Library integration, so I can lunch my ea games from steam if they are purchased on steam, or on the ea launcher, Friends list integration, so I can see steam friends playing EA games as well would be very nice, especially If i can join them

@EA_Illium it's May 2022 and we don't have any solution!
Battlefield 5 has a compatibility issue with Windows 11 in which it loses communication with the keyboard, which does not occur when using the EA APP application, I tested several keyboards and tested it on the BF2042 (the problem does not happen).

Hey @EA_Darko - I checked the EA App Roadmap and the ability to launch EA games purchased through Steam is not present on the "Things we're exploring". Can you confirm that this feature is not coming ?

We added Steam supporter end of 2022 to EA app.
