Why is the EA app for Mac missing a search bar?

Hi i have the same thing going on, i can't download sims 4 or 3, and am unable to search anything up because there's no search bar. If you were able to figure out how to get around this please let me know!

this should still have a search bar... just make it only able to return sims if thats the case... but not having a search bar at all is a bad look and feel...

Exactly the same issue for me as well. I was trying to find the Artist Studio kit, but could not find it in the Home page. I also tried to scroll through the categories of their packs, still didn't see it. I tried to search for it, but I can't find anywhere to search for it.

I have this problem as well. I wanted to buy the new Artists Studio Kit, but it wasn't showing up on the Home page and I can't search for it. I was able to buy it online through the EA website, but you would think EA would want to make it easy for people to buy DLC...

I AM A MAC USER. Just to make sure there's no confusion.

Is there no way to search for game on the EA app? I'm trying to find MySims in the app and someone told me to search it, but I haven't had a search function in the app since we were forced to switch over from Origin? I've actually struggled to find specific Sims 4 DLC because of it, I have to just hope it shows up on the home page so I can finally click it. There's a link at the bottom to shop the catalogue, but there's no search function on that website either?? I have to search things in google and try to find a link that leads me to EA's website. I'm so confused as to why I can't search directly in the app? There's no way for me to look at EA games outside of The Sims either, which seems incorrect.
