Writing doesn't work in sims
We are not able to write the name for the sim. We are able to click the dice and remove letters, we just can't add any letters.

Are you currently using mods or CC in your game?
If so, please try moving your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Once you've done that, test the game.
If it works normally, check for updates to your mods/CC. You can then add them back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
