How do I disable EA background service COMPLETELY.

Question

EA has a bog-standard answer for threads like these and it doesn't work.

I disabled these settings:

Application Updates
Open EA on Startup
All Notifications
In-game overlay
Update games automatically
Continue updates when closed

And EABackroundService is still running on my pc. As far as I'm concerned, this is behaving like malaware. I had not played EA games for years because of this, and it seems the trend will continue...

The EA app background service automatically stops a few moments after the app has fully shut down when this setting is disabled. However, certain factors may cause the service to continue running, such as having the Xbox Gaming app installed with an active Xbox x EA Play membership. &nbsp;
