Had the same issue got a free VPN, connected to nethelrands and it worked. EA truly sucks. No other service throttles download speed like this because of location ( I am 100 km away from netherlands anyway). The free VPN if anyone is interested is ProtonVPN
Ok. I have been downloading Jedi Survivor since 11:00am (It is now 3:55pm).
Until 3:00 pm It had been downloading between 6 and 7MB/s (I have a 200Mb connection).
At 3:00pm my download speed slowed to 3MBps
I used my ExpressVPN and connected to Netherlands (all 3 servers) and at tops 1MBps
Then I connected to Los Angeles -3 server and the download speed rose to 17MBps. 92% completed. Had I known I would have used ExpressVpn from the start.
My download speed has been multiplied by 10 with a VPN as well.
That's now a 2 years old problem and EA support just stopped replied when they realized that people were proving them that's not related to our ISP.
I come from Belgium, for whatever reason the download speed for my country is limited. Will the support react ???
In the meantime, thank to ProtonVPN ...
