Re: Why does the EA app display "Games have been removed from your library"?

I found a solution to the problem I was having! The EA App said The Sims was removed because my nonexistent Epic subscription expired. I had access to the game in July. I tried the app recovery but it didn't work. I went to the actual file location of The Sims and opened it from there and it opened. When I went back to the EA App it was restored there.

An image of the location is attached, although I'm not sure what the file location would be if it was installed after Origin changed to the EA App. Hope this helps someone!

  • Ok, its not having EA App start with windows that is causing the issues, it just took longer to happen again.  Lost 10 games again today, came back after restarting it, so I'm assuming its an issue with the App, and not my account.  Really wish someone would do something about this.  But knowing EA, its gonna take years before they even notice.

  • I want to say they are going to fix this soon, but then I remember it's EA

EA IF YOU SEE THIS BUG PLEASE FIX IT

It also appears that the transaction receipts / order history where i purchased my games has been deleted from my EA account? Does anyone else have the orders / receipts missing for the games that it now says are removed from library?
