Apple 15 pro max cannot exit ads

Hello, I am writing to ask for help. When I look at an ad in the game, the ad never lets me get back to the game. The ad gets stuck and does not give me the option to get out. When the x to exit pops up, it gets out of the ad and goes into the area to download the game the ad was showing and if you push the x it returns to the ad and stays stuck in the ad. I have left the phone sitting in the ad for up to an hour before and hit the x and it will not exit the ad. The only way to exit is to get out and swipe out or close the game and renter again. Please help.
