Anthem - Offline mode instead
Leading off that I understand no longer maintaining Anthem since it isn't the most popular game in the EA library and hasn't received and update in years, but that doesn't mean the entire game should be shut down and made unavailable. Players have paid for the game, have supported it when it had gone back into redevelopment to become a single player RPG (that IMO it should've been to begin with) and still play after that was scrapped. To shut down and completely remove a game people have put money into (especially without refunds) is a worrying and dangerous precedent that the gaming community is facing, and should be pushed back on. If you bought a game you should be able to play it, even if it's old, even if it's not being updated anymore, you paid for it therefor it should be available to play just like any game you bought a disk or cartridge for. With EA's push for live service games and reliance on online servers to play many single player games, something like this shows a worrying future for games like dragon age (DAI's keep being the only way to import the worldstate) and mass effect (why do you have to be online to access the DLC??) and many other EA games. One day those servers will be shuttered for one reason or another, but that shouldn't lock people out of playing the games they love. So all I ask, is please push a final patch that removes the online aspects for Anthem, to make it offline only, remove the lobby, let players go out into the field solo without connecting to the servers, let players who still play continue to do so and retain the option so future players can check out the game even though it's no longer supported.
Anthem servers down? (17th July 2025)
Hey, is anyone else having trouble logging into Anthem? I've been able to play just fine for the last week or so, but tonight just got stuck on the "Connecting to Online Services..." message. I don't see posts or any update on the Anthem server status page, but do see other people on Twitter with the same problem!Any possible relisting of Operation Flashpoint games on Steam?
Hello, wanted to make this post regarding the Codemasters games of Operation Flashpoint. Early this year they were delisted from Steam: Dragon Rising Red River Will they return or be relisted to Steam? I was about to purchase Dragon Rising for accessing it's mission editor, however I just saw that they were delisted. Will they return? Thanks in advance.
Memory leak
5800x3d 3080ti. Im sure everyone is aware got to say anyway lol please fix it. Unplayable after 3 or so matches at one point i tried to put it at 720p and low settings and was using 11k vram cant be good on our cards. Thanks for the hard work so far and getting us bf fans back but this needs fixed thanks.No Gem for Annual Renewal
I was cheated out of gems and 1 extra month for annual renewal. EA is a cheat, and not longer honors what they promise. I'm calling my bank to contest charges. I was told to wait 72 hours and I did then chat with someone who said they had several, and to wait longer for resolve. EA does not care about customers or loyality.
Unable to Recover EA Account or Game Progress
I’m reaching out to the EA community and support team because I’ve hit a wall with account recovery for Battlefield 6 on Xbox Series X. My issue is simple: My EA account was registered with an email that was deleted and can’t be restored ([edit: email address removed]). As a result, I can’t receive authentication codes, reset the password, or verify my account—even though my main Xbox gamertag (samstoof#1116) has all my game progress. What’s frustrating is that EA support refuses to offer alternatives. My only option, according to them, is to link samstoof#1116 to a brand new EA account ([edit: email address removed]), which wipes out all existing progress and forces me to start over. They won’t escalate, do a manual verification, or use my Xbox identity—just a hard no if I can’t access the old email. I have provided all the proof and information I can—ownership, identity, past purchase records, even my Xbox account details. Nothing works. Apparently, flexibility and customer care are totally absent from EA’s account system. Losing years of progress due to a technicality feels unfair and discouraging, especially after investing hundreds of hours into the game. Has anyone found a workaround, been able to escalate, or received help from higher-level EA staff for a similar problem? Can EA offer any real solution for cases where the original email is truly inaccessible? Any help, advice, or stories would be appreciated. EA needs to do better for genuine fans who get locked out by email issues. Thanks.
Unlink defunct EA account from Xbox
After several attempts to use EA customer support I am out of options. I know I am not the first person with this issue. It's been occurring for years with no resolution. Around 2010, I setup an EA account through my Xbox so I could play an EA game. I used my wife's email, from before we were married, we left most of the info fields blank because I didn't need the account for anything other than playing the game. 13 years later I want to play a EA game using my game pass for PC and EA Play access. I can not login. I can not access the defunct email. EA customer support tells me my information provided is incorrect. I just want to play video games. How can I unlink this defunct account without access? EA support says I can't verify its my account, then I want this account removed from the Xbox account I can prove ownership of. I never take time to comment or complain on the internet. This time I had to. Guess I just don't play anymore EA games.
Ownership of base game missing.
Hi, This is an account bug, not a game altering bug. I've been playing Spore since 2008, I made an EA account in 2008. I have also had the "Creepy & Cute Parts Pack" since it came out. Both physical copies. When Origin came out, I moved my account to origin. When Origin was shelved for the EA app, I moved it and my other purchases to the EA app. In the EA app, I still own the Creepy and Cute Parts Pack but not the base game. I still have my Spore user name in my account info. Side note: I have never changed my account icon. If an EA employee would be so kind as to reach out to me, I would be positively overjoyed for the opportunity to prove my ownership. I'm probably also going to buy the Galactic Adventures expansion pack ("Expansion Pack" showing my age) as soon as this is resolved. I can’t select any of my Bejeweled Blitz rare gems. They all say unavailable. Screenshot attached. I’ve refreshed multiple times. I am connected to wi-fi. I don’t have any new content to load. Hello everyone, So the issue is fairly obvious, I bought the game 8 days ago and started playing it immediately. I am using Windows 10 Home (and on another computer, Windows 11 Home). On both computers, after reaching the space era, the game crashes and stops working. According to the log file that is automatically created, there is a memory allocation/pointer issue. I tried to look for solutions but all the related forum threads (e.g. on reddit) are either dead or 8-10 years old. I tried multiple troubleshooting steps, watched YouTube videos, etc. but nothing helped. Then I decided to buy the game on GoG, and voilà, it works like a charm - even in the space era. I would like to ask for a refund as the problem is obviously related to the outdated version of the game that is available via the EA app. However, according to the refund policies, it is not possible which I find scam like as the issue is independent from me and there is nothing I can do. I would highly appreciate it if you helped me with this issue. In a nutshell: the game doesn't work due to its outdated version and I would like to get a refund. Hi guys, Having an issue where I am trying to collect the sentinel archives, but the tracking in the challenge menu is no longer updating and has been stuck at five for multiple hours now. I’ve collected an additional 60+ sentinel archives since then, created a new pilot and have done a few multiple FreePlay sessions and collecting as many as I can in one sitting to try and get the counter to update but it refuses. This is the last challenge I need and the last thing I need for the platinum trophy, does anyone else experience this or know of any fixes or what to do? Cheers!
Banned by mistake
For anyone experiencing the same issue as me, where they got banned due to gameplay enhancements even though they werent hacking and are stuck in a loop trying to appeal the ban however TOS keep saying that you were hacking and there is proof (even though they dont provide any). I will be raising it to my local authorities for legal action and will try to keep this forum updated to let you know if it works that way, if i got my acc back, and how much compensation i get (if any). I am currently waiting for EA to send me all my data which they are legally required to send.
