Re: PSA: Sims 4 "Failed to launch game - An error on our end" -> Check Your Mods!

Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been playing offline for awhile, however earlier this evening I finally got around to updating my mods and the Sims 4 game itself. As usually removed mods from folder and tried to launch the game. I got the message below (see screen shot). I cleared my cache, did appy recovery, and even repaired my game only to get the same message. Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how to fix it? Note: I was playing the game fine offline earlier today (3/22/25) and this didn't occur until I updated my game.

    After getting absolutely no help from EA I tried various suggested fixes from the internet. Ultimately I had to uninstall both the EA App and Sims 4, clear cache and history, and then reinstall. This seems to have resolved the issue. Albeit it appears I might have lost reward items.
