[FIXED] EA app Friends List Won't Load (May 11, 2025)

This problem has persisted even though i've wiped the EA App cache and reinstalled twice. When i'm in Battlefront 2 i cannot see my friends online and they see me as online and when they try to send me an invite i receive nothing. When I went into the app to manually invite my friend i see that the entire profile section and friends list is just stuck in an infinite loading loop. I know this is supposed to be a problem related to my connection, but i have a very stable connection and this problem has never occurred over 4 years using the app. I don't understand how such a simple feature can just completely stop working out of nowhere after using the app with no issues for years.

    Thank you for sharing your concerns about the EA app Friends List and related services not loading as of May 5, 2025. This was due to a temporary issue, which has been resolved as of 2 AM GMT+1 last night.

    If you're still experiencing problems, it's likely due to a different cause. Please reply to this thread with your EA app Error Reporter ID so we can investigate further.

    To keep things organised and avoid duplicate reports, I’ll go ahead and close this thread.

    Seriously, EA, fix your services! I can’t even invite my friend to a game because it shows they’re offline when they’re clearly online. On top of that, the friends list in the EA App is completely bugged — it either doesn’t load or just shows NOTHING. What’s the point of having these features if they don’t work? This has been going on for too long, and it's beyond frustrating. Get your act together and fix these basic issues!

    @EA Anyone... 

    Repaired EA app yesterday evening and again this morning.

    Uninstalled this evening and re-installed. Same issue is still occurring as well as disconnecting from games after 5 minutes
