Madden 27: Superstar mode bug

In superstar mode I’m currently playing as a CB. My player is an X factor, but when I play a game only a star icon shows up under my player’s feet. I’m unable to get into the “X-Factor” zone while in game because of this. At the superstar mode menu I’m listed as an X-Factor but still shows the star under my player on the field. I’ve tried clearing cache, uninstalling and all to no avail. Frustrating that I put so much time and money into this and now there’s a bug not allowing my player to use his X-Factor on the field.
